80% of our high school students are enrolled in a Career & Technical Education (CTE) program, with more than 6,000 courses taken.
This past school year, our students earned more than 1,000 Industry-Based Certifications, with over 25 different certifications offered.
This past school year, Wylie ISD had 28 National Merit Commended Scholars and two National Merit Finalists.
In the latest STAAR assessments, which underwent redesigning for increased rigor and an online-only model, Wylie ISD students continued to outscore the state and regional averages on the Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies exams across grades 3-12.
